EIGHT GOALS, EIGHT INDICATORS
Our SDG Commitments

We claim six to eight goals strongly rather than all seventeen weakly. Each one below has an indicator behind it that we can actually report.
| Goal | How AusAgri contributes | Indicator reported |
|---|---|---|
| 1 No Poverty | Raising per-acre income for smallholders by increasing yield and cutting input cost. Linking farmers to fair markets and finance. | Income change per acre |
| 2 Zero Hunger | Improving productivity and resilience of wheat, rice, maize and pulses. Reducing post-harvest loss. Kitchen gardening for household nutrition. | Yield improvement, acres under advisory |
| 6 Clean Water and Sanitation | Laser levelling, drip and sprinkler irrigation, alternate wetting and drying in rice, rainwater harvesting, irrigation water quality testing. | Water saved per acre, acres under efficient irrigation |
| 7 Affordable and Clean Energy | Solar tubewell conversion and solar-powered drip systems replacing diesel pumping. | Solar systems installed, diesel litres displaced |
| 12 Responsible Consumption and Production | Precision input use, integrated pest management, reduced fertiliser and pesticide waste, residue recycling instead of burning. | Fertiliser and pesticide reduction per acre |
| 13 Climate Action | The full climate-smart agriculture programme. Adaptation and mitigation together, climate advisory, and support for Pakistan NDC objectives. | Emissions avoided, acres under CSA |
| 15 Life on Land | Soil health restoration, soil organic carbon building, agroforestry, erosion control on barani slopes. | Trees planted, soil organic carbon change |
| 17 Partnerships for the Goals | Collaboration with research institutions, government, banks, input companies and development partners. | Active partnerships |
We claim eight goals rather than all seventeen, because these are the eight where a real number can be published. We report against them honestly. Where our contribution is small, we say so. Where we have no data yet, we say that too. Contributing to the Goals is not a UN partnership and implies no UN endorsement or affiliation.
