ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL, GOVERNANCE
Our ESG Framework
Home / Sustainability / ESG Framework
Environmental
- Promote water-efficient irrigation and reduce water applied per acre on farms we advise
- Reduce nitrogen over-application through soil-test based fertiliser planning
- Eliminate crop residue burning on partner farms
- Promote solar and renewable energy for on-farm pumping
- Build soil organic carbon through residue retention, compost and legume rotation
- Promote integrated pest management and reduce reliance on hazardous pesticides
- Support tree planting and agroforestry on farm boundaries and marginal land
- Minimise plastic and packaging waste in our own input distribution
Measured by water saved in acre-inches, fertiliser reduced per acre, acres under no-burn residue management, acres converted to solar pumping, soil organic carbon change, trees planted, and pesticide volume reduced.
Social
- Smallholder inclusion. Services designed and priced for farmers with small landholdings, not only corporate farms
- Advisory delivered in Urdu and local languages so literacy is not a barrier
- Deliberate inclusion of women farmers, particularly in livestock, kitchen gardening and post-harvest work
- Youth employment and internships in rural districts
- Farmer safety. Training on correct pesticide handling, protective equipment and safe disposal
- Fair and transparent pricing, with an invoice and batch number on every sale
- No child labour anywhere in our operations or among the suppliers we work with
- Community engagement through free field days, demonstration plots and open advisory content
Measured by farmers reached, smallholders as a share of clients, women farmers trained, youth employed, training sessions delivered, and safety trainings held.
Governance
- Clear company registration, licensing and tax compliance
- Zero tolerance for bribery and corruption
- Only registered, labelled and genuine agricultural inputs. No counterfeit or unregistered product
- Honest advisory. We do not recommend a product simply because we sell it
- A published grievance mechanism for farmers and staff
- Data privacy. Farmer data, field boundaries and yields are never sold or shared without consent
- Transparent, evidence-based public reporting. No unverified environmental claims
- Board or advisory oversight of ESG performance
Measured by grievances received and resolved, compliance audits passed, staff trained on the code of conduct, and ESG reports published.
